Make the Sale Repeat

The one thing

One sale can be luck. The skill is making the second and the fifth happen on purpose.

After the first yes, the temptation is to try everything at once. New channels, new offers, new ideas, all chasing more customers. That scatters you, and it hides the one thing that actually worked.

Do the opposite. Look back hard at how the first customer found you and why they said yes. Then do that again, deliberately. Go back to the same kind of person, with the message and the offer that worked. Repeat the path that brought money in before you look for new ones.

A quiet voice will say the first sale was a fluke and you cannot do it again. Confidence will not silence that voice. A second sale that came the same way will, so go and get it the same way you got the first.

What to do

  • Write the full story of your first sale. Where they came from, what you said, what worried them, and what finally made them say yes.
  • Find the one step that mattered most. The channel, the line, the proof, the offer. That is the thing to repeat.
  • Go and do that exact thing again with the next set of people. Change nothing until it has worked a few times.
