How this index works

Each entry below is a real piece from real work. Field notes are short observations from a single engagement. Case write-ups walk through a framework applied end to end with the specific business, the specific exercise, and the specific outcome. Live learnings capture what surfaced from a workshop, a diagnosis run, or a hard week in someone's business.

Pieces are dated. The most recent sits at the top. Each entry names the framework it applies and links back to the chapter that holds that framework.

Edition 1.2 entries

The Bonus Material library opens in Edition 1.2 (April 2026) as a scaffold. The first entries are being written and will land here in Edition 1.3. Until then this page exists to make the structure visible and to confirm that the contribution path is open.

If you ran a diagnosis, applied a framework from this playbook, and the result was either useful or instructive, please consider writing it up. The pieces that earn their place here are the ones where the specifics make the framework real for the next reader.

What earns a place here

A piece earns inclusion when it does at least three of the following.

• Names a framework from the main playbook and shows it applied to a specific business with the founder, the situation, and the numbers visible.
• Adds a wrinkle the main chapter did not cover, because the real situation was messier than the framework implied.
• Provides a checklist, a worksheet, or a script that another founder can pick up and use this week.
• Closes with a clear outcome. What happened, what changed, what stayed the same.
• Is short enough that a working founder can read it in under fifteen minutes.

What does not earn a place

Generic advice. Aspirational essays. Pieces that read like they came from a model rather than a person. Pieces that name no business and use no numbers. The bar is real work or it is nothing.

Why this exists

Editions of the playbook ship slowly because they have to. A chapter only earns its place after a pattern has shown up across enough engagements that it is worth naming. Between editions, the patterns are still arriving. Bonus Material is the place where they land while they are still raw enough to be useful.

The library will grow. Reading it tells you what the playbook is currently learning, before it makes the next edition.
